Beyaz Gemi Training and Consultancy Services, has been carrying out various projects regarding education and social responsibility, especially in the “family, parent-child” education center since 1994 .

As a result of these projects we have served directly 8.000 families through the strategic collaboration done with 300 education associations and 6 universities, as well as NGO related works, and indirectly 35.000 families via these associations.

Our strategic partners not only provided logistical support but also have provided us the preliminary research statistics that we needed. Thus, we have managed to realize our project concepts with solid and clear statistical data.

The feedback, information and experience we achieved from our target groups for eight years, has taken us to the point where it became a must to run all our social responsibility projects from one center. Thus, we, as Beyaz Gemi, have started to provide all the necessary services starting from the proposal stage of a project to realization, preparation and publication of printed documents and production of oral and written promotion materials.

Below you will find a summary of our projects in parallel to our development process:

We have prepared the “Parent and Child Guide ” regarding the needs, wishes and requirements of families.

Meanwhile, we have realized the “I Drink Milk” project among the selected nursery schools in Istanbul . Education materials were prepared as well as performances on the benefits of drinking milk. During the project, governmental institutions such as Social Services Department of the Ministry have become social partners in order to support the promotion of the message to public.

Another project that we have realized was the “ Child Friendly Areas” project in which we have worked with YÖRET. The goal of the project was to provide rehabilitation and trainings to the parents and children living in Izmit, Doğu Kışla, Gölcük, Değirmendere ve Hisareyn following the August 17 earthquake and it was funded by DIA a Hollander NGO, Colgate and Nokia.

Following the Parent and Child Guide , we have conducted the Child Protection Project in cooperation with the Social Services. Next, we have prepared and conducted the “Knowledge Is a Lifesaver” Project in cooperation with the Kandilli Observatory with the funding of OYAK Renault. In the first stage of the project, 100.000 students and 7000 teachers and staff were given training on earthquakes in the East Anatolian region. The media members were with us through out the training broadcasting the project thus, providing a wide outreach.

A lot of private and governmental firms and institutions has supported the “Children Rights Agreement, 10 th Anniversary Promotion” Project by providing funds for the project that we have conducted on behalf of the Social Services and Cocuk Esirgeme Kurumu.

Our next project following that was the second stage of the “Knowledge is a Lifesaver” Project, which was sponsored by the United Nations Development Bank and T.C. Başbakanlık. National and local media has followed us throughout the second round of trainings we held in the East Anatolian Region, which resulted with a reflection of 3.5 million dollars. This sum was not only the measurement of column/cm, but also the positive publicity of the benefits of the trainings and the contribution of the sponsors.

And today, we are still working on social responsibility projects that are increasing the publicity to the promotion of the projects and prestige of firms and institutions thorough media.
